So this weekend was the Wichita Bridal Expo. My mom came down from Kearney for it and Travis and his parents came down on Sunday as well. With the wedding being in Nebraska, the main point of going was to get ideas, and find a place to get a wedding dress.
Boy was it crazy! We ate lunch before heading out, but that was silly, there was enough food there to fill up on for a lunch. There was definitely lots of cake samples! Lots of yumminess!!! The amount of people dwindled as the day wore on, but still there were lots of people. All of us brides, having our pink dots, so the vendor's knew who to target for information and sales.
My mom and I went two days, did we really need two days, probably not, but it was good to go both. I took inventory of all the wedding dress places and then took them back on Saturday night and reviewed them, deciding on which couple I wanted to schedule appointments with for the following Monday.
We did get ideas, and Travis' parents also came and we were able to share all ideas with them as well! It was a long couple of days, but very good and successful!
